I don't understand this terrible drivel of shows that keep popping up! Recently, I sat down to watch Comedy Central's new series, "Secret Girlfriend" and was not amused. It's basically a series of short clips of women, friends, and assorted toadies talking directly into the camera implying you, the viewer, are the main character. If these were what my friends looked like, I'd hate to see what kind of douchebag I might be. As if watching a train wreck, I kept screaming in my head "Turn the camera around!"
There isn't anything remotely funny to me about this show. It ranks right up there with overdosing on ex-lax just before a long hike. The women all come across as complete head-cases. One character is an ex-girlfriend (who won't stay an ex) who puts an entirely new spin on the word psychotic. New spin as in dear-God-I-hope-Pfizer-has-a-new-drug-in-the-works-psychotic. Apparently all my male friends have made sure to DVR it, so maybe the fact I'm a chick is the reason it doesn't appeal to me...or maybe its because I went to college and have an IQ greater than 60.
Give me a televised remake of "Where the Hell is Matt?" At least his silly dance moves are set in interesting locations.
Let's hope the psychotic ex whips out a .44 and puts this show out of our misery.
