It was bad enough that CSI was a sad, pathetic imitation of Law and Order. I could forgive them for replacing meaningful dialog with short montages and all-too active camera work while succeeding in having dialog only fit for 4-year-olds. I could forgive the mindless and altogether drama-less writing.
What I can't forgive, what I absolutely can't forgive, is some brainless nitwit who isn't fit to shine Jerry Orbach's shoes doing his best to imitate Lenny. Yes, Eddie Cahill's character detective Don Flack is spouting stupid one liners that aren't half has funny as Lenny's with one millionth the talent of Jerry Orbach.
Knock it off!
And why, why, why is an actor of Gary Sinese's caliber chaining himself to such a crappy show?
