The Oscars suck. Basically, here is what the Oscars represent:
Hollywood gets together in a theater and pats itself on the back for doing so well by giving awards to itself voted on by itself.
Who do you think the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences is? It is the same bunch of people sitting in the audience clapping as members of the Academy run up and accept awards they were nominated for by members of the Academy. Eh? Meh.
And as if that isn't enough, the opening musical number is them celebrating themselves! Let's celebrate ourselves! Yeah! We're wonderful! It's great to be a whore/drug addict/drug dealer/pimp/murderer/theif/liar/pederast! Think I am kidding? Look into the police records of those celebrities clapping and you will find plenty of those in that theater.
It offends me that no one who is responsible for keeping the Space Shuttle in orbit makes a fraction of what those morons do.
And who is the master of ceremonies for this herd of degerates hell-bent on patting themselves on the back for being so undeservedly beautiful and rich? The least funniest woman on Earth, Ellen Degenerate. What is the first thing she mentions? "Oh look how diverse we are!" Well, let's see. 90% of the audience in the theater is rich, 90% are employed in the movies, 90% are liberals, 90% don't have an IQ above 100, and 90% are attractive. Doesn't sound too diverse to me. Funny, she meant diverse in that they all look different and have different religious beliefs (although for the most part not political ones). Well now, how wonderfully racially, ethnically, and spiritually intolerant of Ms. Degenerate to point out the differences that should matter the least as being the most important ones to Hollywood. In fact, the only reason diversity was even mentioned is because Jesse Jackson accused them of being rascist in another one of his thinly veiled extortion schemes.
The only time they aren't stroking each others ego's by "Thanking the Academy" which is basically them thanking themselves, they are trying to lecture us about politics!
They suck, the Oscars suck, and their politics suck.
